Tenho andado a ouvir com mais atenção (no momento) o género R&B/Soul, e um dos sub-géneros que me encanta é o chamado neo-soul. Na verdade, considero-o mais como neo-R&B, e este trabalho de Jhené Aiko apresenta-se numa toada downtempo muito sensual, charmoso por vezes, intrigante noutras, intimista quase sempre e polvilhado de muito hip-hop. Os arranjos sonoros são duma electrónica calma de aparente simplicidade e os convidados que neste álbum colaboram são interessantes, passando por Drake, Kanye West, H.O.P.E. ou Gucci Mane entre vários e não deixa de ser uma proposta curiosa.
A destacar faixas como (a excelente) "Stranger", "July" (ft. Drake), "My Mine", "Sailing, Not Selling" (ft. Kanye West), "Do Better Blues" (ft. H.O.P.E.), "Space Jam" ou a "You vs. Them" (chill-out em regime quase épico).
